GORGEOUS 1890's Red and Black WOOL Walking Suit. Wide black wool revers, soutache trimming along bodice seams and black braid trim on skirt. Skirt is completely lined AND FACED BY HAND in stiff grey cotton fabric. Hem is bound with flat cotton braid trim.
Primary red fabric has herringbone weave and very narrow black pin striping. Black wool is tightly woven and smooth faces.
Very full mutton sleeves (no internal stiffening as this would be accomplished by the bodice worn underneath), wide revers and black wool button false weskit.
I know these pop-ups are a pain in the tooshy but I hope you don't mind if I follow along with you as you visit my site. I promise it just helps me provide better information in the future. (PS - this is just a cookie banner.)
